Compatibility

Find not only a part, but the right part for the application.

In the case of technical catalogues, a visually similar product may be unsuitable. Compatibility data must therefore be able to form a hard or heavy signal.

Modeling relationships explicitly

Determine which part fits machine, model, year of manufacture, configuration or other reference object.

Use hard filters where needed

When incompatibility poses risk, a semantically similar product should not just appear at the top.

Show appropriate alternatives

In the case of sold-out or expired parts, successors and approved replacements can be offered.

Support multiple inputs

Customers can search by machine, application, part number or technical characteristics.

Make uncertainty visible

When compatibility is not fully proven, communicate that clearly rather than suggest a hard match.

Analyze failed combinations

Zero-result searches on model part combinations show where relationships or assortment are missing.
